Water Filtration System Installation in Hall County & Northeast Georgia

Water quality varies significantly across Northeast Georgia. Municipal water in Gainesville and Flowery Branch is treated and safe, but it contains chlorine and chloramines for disinfection, and the mineral content (hardness) can vary seasonally. Well water in more rural areas of Dawson, Habersham, and Banks counties can have issues with iron, manganese, sulfur (rotten egg smell), sediment, and sometimes bacteria. The right filtration system depends entirely on what's actually in your water, which is why I recommend starting with a water test.

For drinking water quality, an under-sink reverse osmosis system removes virtually everything, giving you bottled-water quality from your kitchen tap. Installation involves connecting the system to your main water line (for whole-house systems) or to the cold water supply under your kitchen sink (for RO units). If your home has older pipes, it may make sense to combine filtration installation with repiping, since old galvanized pipes can reintroduce contaminants after the filter.
